Jackie Elaine Wallace Memorial services for Mancos resident, Jackie Elaine Wallace will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, September 29 at the Dolores Community Center. Inurnment will follow at the Wallace Family Cemetery. Johnny and Frank Green will be officiating. Jackie was born on February 16, 1932 in Cortez, the daughter of Jack T. and Jennie Lucille (Veach) Meadows. She passed away on Thursday, September 25, 2014 at her home in Mancos at the age of 82. Surviving Jackie are her sisters, Nola Ferguson of Cortez, Oretta Smith of Mesa, Ariz.; caregiver, Cathy Conway; and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family members. Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, Dwight Lyle Wallace; and two sisters, Hazel Smith and Norma Dennison. Memorial contributions can be made in Jackie Elaina Wallace's memory to the Cattleman's and Cowbelles Scholarship Fund.
