INGRID JOAN HARTLEY Funeral services for Ingrid Joan Hartley, a lifelong Cortez resident, will be held at Noon, Friday, March 2 at St. Barnabas Episcopal Church with Rev. Erika Meyer officiating. Interment will be held at Cortez Cemetery. A reception will follow the interment service at Mary Blake Hall. The daughter of Emil Enander and Jimmie Audrey “Virginia” (Norman) Johnson, Ingrid was born on February 10, 1929 in Cortez. She passed away on Tuesday, February 27, 2007 at Vista Grande Nursing Home at the age of 78. Ingrid was a lifelong member of the St. Barnabas Episcopal Church where she played the organ and sang with the choir. She faithfully volunteered with the Humane Society and the Colorado Heart Association. Surviving Ingrid are her children, Virginia Jordan and husband, Ralph of Beaumont, Tex., Justin Loerwald and husband, Charles of Aurora, Colo., and Heidi Silver and husband, Adrian of Newmarket, N.H.; her brother, Eugene Johnson of Cortez; her granddaughters, Carey Jordan of Houston, Tex., and Andrea Lucero of Monument, Colo.; and her great-granddaughters, Blake Hartley Hetherington and Abigail Victoria Lucero. She was preceded in death by her parents. Memorial contributions may be made in Ingrid’s name to Noah’s Ark, 14929 Road G, Cortez, Colo. 81321.
