INGA LOU (DAY) RIPPETOE Memorial services for Summit Ridge resident Inga Lou (Day) Rippetoe will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday, May 25 at Ertel Memorial Chapel. Inga was born on December 21, 1939 in Eager, Ariz. the daughter of Loran and Nellie Pearl (McDaniel) Day. She passed away on Thursday, May 21, 2009 at her home at the age of 69. On January 1, 1960, Inga married Melvin Terrel Rippetoe in Bloomfield, N.M. A caring and loving mother and grandmother, Inga always put her family first. She enjoyed bowling and playing the piano as well as amateur photography. Inga enjoyed time spent outdoors fishing, hunting, boating and camping with her family. Surviving Inga are her husband of 49 years, Melvin Rippetoe of Summit Ridge; her children, Susan Lucas and husband, Wayne of Dolores, Cindy House and husband, David of Farmington, N.M., and Debra Embree and husband, Roger Kenzel of Houston, Tex.; and by her grandchildren, Ethan and Maegan Wall, Caitlin, Allie, and Eli House, Ray Embree and Michael Allen and wife, Dana. She also leaves behind her great-grandchildren, Kyra and Lynna Allen; her brother, Rolen Day and wife, Beverly of Bloomfield, N.M.; her brother-in-law, Ray Phelps of Bloomfield, N.M.; a large extended family and many friends. Inga was preceded in death by her parents; and by her siblings, Lorane Phelps and Marvin Day. Memorial contributions may be made in Inga's name to Hospice of Montezuma, P.O.
