IDA PHILLIPS CRAWFORD Funeral services for Cortez resident and former Aneth, Utah resident Ida Phillips Crawford are tentatively set for 2 p.m. on Monday, July 31 at the Ertel Memorial Chapel. Interment will follow at the Cortez Cemetery. Ida was born on July 24, 1911 in Aneth, Utah, the daughter of John and Louise Phillips. She passed away on Thursday, July 27, 2006 at the Vista Grande Nursing Home at the age of 95. Ida is survived by her siblings, Shorty Phillips and Tony Phillips both of Aneth; her nieces, Esther Lansing Dishface of Montezuma Creek, Utah, Pauline Bernallie of Farmington, N.M., Fannie Bedonie, Mary Bedonie, Ada Lansing, Phyllis Tsosie, all of Teec Nos Pos, Ariz.; nephews, Vincent Yazzie and Hoskie Lansing, both of Cortez, Willie Yazzie and Chester Yazzie, both of Teec Nos Pos, Ariz., John Lansing, Wayne Lansing, Don Lansing, all of Aneth, Utah, Lester Lansing of Blanding, Utah; and the children of Shorty and Tony Phillips. Ida was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Eugene R. Crawford Sr.; her step-daughter; her sisters, Mary Lansing and Daisy Bedonie; her grandson, Ross Lansing earlier this month; and numerous other extended family members.
