HOWARD CURTIS MILLER Graveside services for area resident, Howard Curtis Miller will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, September 22 at the Cedar Grove Cemetery in Mancos. Howard was born on October 19, 1935 in Hutchinson, Kans. the son of Charles E. and Jessie Louemmjane (Evans) Miller. He passed away on Saturday, September 17, 2005 at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Albuquerque, N.M. at the age of 69. Howard was a 14 year United States Air Force Veteran who served during the Korean Conflict. He remained a very patriotic fellow, who was always supportive of the troops. He loved the military, wildlife and mountains. He worked as a Surveyor for Wel-Tech in Farmington, N.M. and belonged to the Rahma, N.M. Fire Department. Howard was a Farmington resident on and off for the last 35 years. Surviving Howard are his children, Howard Curtis Miller, Jr. of Tucson, Ariz., Zaundra Sue Sinclair of Phoenix, Ariz., Patricia Kochis of Palisade, Colo., and Douglas Allan Miller of Farmington, N.M. He leaves seven grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren; and his siblings, Virginia Miller of Missouri, Geneva Parks of Galena, Kans., and Norman Harvey Miller of Carthage, Mo. Preceding him in death were his parents; and his two brothers and sister, Charles E. Miller, Leonard F. Miller and Laverna R. Miller.
