Hester Faye Hackett

HESTER FAYE HACKETT Hester Faye Hackett was born Sept. 7, 1941, the eldest daughter of Forrest and Flora Gray. Faye passed away June 21, 2006, at her home in Cortez. She is survived by her beloved husband, Norman Hackett, of 43 years; her children Clifford Hackett (Jacky) of the Philippine Islands, Ron and Kevin Hackett (Wendy), all of Aztec, N.M., Gary Hackett (Dolly) and Darrell Hackett, both of Cortez, Eric Hackett of Aztec, N.M., Gordon Hackett, Cycil Hackett, and Lisa Hackett, all of Cortez, Allen Hackett (Cassey) of Aztec, N.M., Vincent Hackett, and Annie (Brandon) Rhodes, all of Cortez. She also leaves behind her siblings, Lowell Gray, Jaunita Gray, Bruce Gray, Wilbren Gray, Vergil Gray, Mary Provstgaard, Flora Flaugh, Stephen Gray, Kathy Smith, Harold Gray, and Junior, Judy and Arlis Sabo, as well as 13 grandchildren and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Faye was preceded in death by one son, Eldon Hackett; her parents, Forrest and Flora Gray; and her siblings, Leroy Gray and Janie Gray. Funeral services are scheduled for 10 a.m. Monday, June 26, at the Cortez Church of the Firstborn, located at 25523 County Road G.
