HERMAN MITCHELL Funeral services for Aneth resident, Herman Mitchell will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, January 7 at the Ertel Memorial Chapel. Father Pat Valdez, C.R. will be officiating. A visitation has been scheduled for Wednesday morning at the Ertel Chapel beginning at 9 a.m. Herman was born on October 29, 1950 in Chinle, Ariz. the son of Herbert Mitchell Sr., and Adella Begay. He passed away on Thursday, January 1, 2015 at his home in Salt Lake City, Utah at the age of 64. Surviving Herman are his wife, Loretta (Harvey) Mitchell of Aneth and Salt Lake City, Utah; his mother, Adella Mitchell of Many Farms, Ariz.; children, Crystalene Roberts and husband, Darren of Aneth, Heather-Dawn Mitchell and Norman Balchinclowing of Salt Lake City, Utah, Jerrimiah Cody Mitchell, Diondra Lynn Mitchell and Jherripheena Reanne Mitchell all of Salt Lake City, Utah; four grandchildren; and siblings Loretta Guthrie of Salt Lake City, Utah, Dale Mitchell of Old Valley Store, Ariz., Bobby Mitchell of Many Farms, Ariz., Dean Mitchell of Old Valley Store, Ariz., Georgia Mitchell of Old Valley Store, Ariz., Judy Mitchell of Annandale, Va., Eddison Mitchell of Old Valley Store, Ariz., Jennifer Mitchell of Old Valley Store, Ariz., and Anna Scott of Old Valley, Ariz. Preceding him in death are his father, Herbert Mitchell Sr.; and brothers, Herbert Mitchell Jr. and George Mitchell.
