HENRY LESLIE LAMEMAN Funeral services for Shonto, Ariz. resident Henry Leslie Lameman will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, February 4 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Empire Chapel. Interment will follow at Cortez Cemetery. Visitation has been scheduled to begin at 1:00 p.m. Thursday afternoon at the church. Henry was born on July 20, 1938 in Bluff, Utah the son of Sam and Gladys (Atcitty) Lameman. He passed away on Saturday, January 30, 2010 at Kolob Nursing Home in St. George, Utah at the age of 71. On August 10, 1962, Henry married Lorraine Nez in Bluff, Utah. A cowboy at heart, Henry loved saddle bronc riding, watching rodeos, and horse racing. Henry was a longtime member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Surviving Henry are his wife, Lorraine Lameman of Shonto, Ariz.; his mother, Gladys Lameman of Bluff, Utah; and his children, Arnold Lameman of Bloomfield, N.M., Beverly Whitehair and husband, Amos of Montezuma Creek, Utah, Lorna Walls of Palm Springs, Calif., Lenora Lameman-Oliver and Curtis of Mexican Hat, Utah, Lonnie Lameman of Shonto, Ariz., Lorinda Lameman of Shonto, Ariz., Leonora Lameman-Sloan and husband, Bryan of Navajo Mountain, Utah, and Marissa Lameman of White Mesa, Utah. Henry also leaves behind 28 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and his brothers, Harvey Lameman and wife, Ida of Shiprock, N.M., Paul Lameman and wife, Della of Blanding, Utah, and Aaron Lameman. Henry was preceded in death by his father; and by his brothers, James and Lee Lameman.
