Graveside services for Towaoc resident Henry Jacket Jr. will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, January 29, 2021 at Cortez Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 4 – 7 p.m. Thursday, January 28, 2021 at Ertel Memorial Chapel.
Henry was born July 22, 1959 in Cortez, CO the son of Henry Jacket Sr. and Fern Eyetoo. He passed away on Saturday, January 23, 2021 at Mercy Hospice House in Durango, CO at the age of 61.
Surviving Henry are his mother, Fern Jacket of Towaoc, CO; his spouse, Clarice Jacket of Towaoc, CO; his children, Alise Jacket of Towaoc, CO, Jaron Jacket of Towaoc, CO, Henry Jackey III of Towaoc, CO; his siblings, Austin Jacket of Towaoc, CO, Lynda Jacket of Towaoc, CO, LaDonna King of Towaoc, CO, Rita Wing of Towaoc, CO; and his four grandchildren, Jazlynn Jacket, Zayden Jacket, Zaniyah Jacket, and Kamira Jacket. Henry was preceded in death by his father, Henry Jacket Sr.; and his brothers, Melvin Mills, and Vincent Jacket.
