Helen Alexandria Ayers

 With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Helen Alexandra Ayers, who peacefully departed this life on Saturday, February 15, 2025, at the age of 88. Born in Cahone, Colorado, on March 18, 1936, Helen was the beloved daughter of Emery and Stella Sabo.

Helen lived a life full of purpose and passion. She was a blue-ribbon winner, a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), a devoted Christian Scientist, and a skilled practitioner of reflexology and therapeutic touch. Her kindness, wisdom, and dedication to healing touched the lives of many.

She is lovingly remembered by her sisters Pauline Oldfield, Barbara Amon, and Margaret Dravate; her children Daniel, Beverly, Wade Retherford, and Valerie McLain; six grandsons; and twelve great-grandchildren.

Helen was preceded in death by her parents, her brothers Carl Sabo and John Michael Sabo, and her grandson Seth Hatfield.

Helen’s legacy of love and strength will forever remain in our hearts. She will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
