Hazel Leach Robinson

HAZEL LEACH ROBINSON Memorial services for lifelong Cortez resident Hazel Leach Robinson will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, July 6 at the Anglican Church of Saint Philip. Rev. Matthew Mayes will officiate. Hazel was born on April 24, 1921 in Roxbury, Mass., the daughter of Hazel Olive Leach. She passed away on June 30, 2007 at the Southwest Memorial Hospital at the age of 85. Hazel was a devoted member of the Anglican Church of Saint Philip. She spent her career as a nurse and retired from Southwest Memorial Hospital. Hazel enjoyed walks in McElmo Canyon, being outdoors and fishing. Surviving Hazel are her grandsons, Quintin and Peter Duckett of Phoenix, Ariz.; and two great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Ernest David Robinson; and her son, Peter Duckett. Memorial contributions may be made in Hazel’s memory to the Anglican Church of Saint Philip.
