Harry Charles Westcott

HARRY CHARLES WESTCOTT Harry Charles Westcott passed away at The Valley Inn in Mancos on Sunday, September 16, 2007 at the age of 89. He was born March 10, 1918 in rural Oshkosh, Neb., the son of Harry George and Leila Marie (Moore) Westcott. Harry enjoyed hunting and fishing in his free time. He and his wife, Agnes came to the area earlier this year to be closer to his grandson and family. Surviving Harry are his wife, Agnes Dolores (Brunelle) Westcott; a son, Harry C. Westcott of Grand Rapids, Minn.; daughter, Kathleen Westcott of Brimson, Minn.; grandson, Kiviok Hight and wife, Ann of Cortez; four additional grandchildren; and two great grandchildren. Two sisters, Louella Westcott of Phoenix, Ariz. and Jesse Thorne of Osage City, Kans.; and a brother, Fred Westcott of Stillwater, Minn. also survive Harry. He was preceded in death by a son. Cremation has taken place and private memorial services will be held at a later date.
