HAROLD R. REEDY Graveside services for former Dove Creek resident, Harold R. Reedy will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday, July 19 at the Dove Creek Cemetery. Harold was born on February 11, 1912 in Barlett, Kansas the son of Clayton Tuggle and Lillie (Cabe) Reedy. He passed away on Thursday, July 15, 2004 in Canon City, Colo. Harold was 92 years old. Born in Kansas and raised in Oklahoma, Harold moved as a young man to California. In the late 1930’s he moved to Dove Creek where he farmed until 1962. Harold changed careers from farming to heavy construction, which he worked until his retirement in 1974. Later in 1994 Harold moved to Canon City where he resided until his death. Harold enjoyed both hunting and fishing. Surviving Harold is his son, Herbert Reedy of Benton City, Wash.; six grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren; as well as a brother, Virgil; and his two sisters, Orvina and Wanda. Preceding him in death were his parents; one brother, one sister and two sons.
