Gwen S. Byington

GWEN S. BYINGTON Gwen S. Byington was born on November 18, 1911 in Grace, Idaho the daughter of William and Susanna (Hamp) Smith. She passed away on Saturday, August 9, 2008 at her daughter's residence in Mancos at the age of 96. In 1930, Gwen married Harold R. Byington in Logan, Utah. Surviving Gwen are her children, Leslie Ann Andrews of Mancos, Rex Byington of Mancos, and Jamie Dayhuff of Boseman, Mont.; and she had 12 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Gwen was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Harold; two daughters; one son; two sisters; and three brothers. Cremation has taken place and a private celebration of life will be held as family can be gathered.
