GUERREROS NAVARRETE HERNANDEZ Visitation for Guerreros Navarrete Hernandez, 69 of Cortez, will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, December 13 at Ertel Memorial Chapel. Cremation will follow. Guerreros was born March 5, 1943 in Durango, El Carriso, Mexico the son of Manuel Navarrete and Velia Navarrete Hernandez. He passed away in Cortez on Monday, December 10, 2012. While living in Mexico, Guerreros served as a Deputy Sheriff. He loved to travel. Surviving Guerreros is his mother, Velia Hernandez Navarrete of Denver; his children, Laura Yadira Navarrete Brito, Alva Kavina Navarrete Brito, Jesus Everardo Navarrete Brito all of Cortez and Edgar Omar Navarrete Brito of Mexico; by nine grandchildren and two great grandchildren; and by his siblings, Manuel, Olga, Elizabeth, Ezequiel, Abigal and Israel. He was preceded in death by his father, Manuel Navarrete; and two siblings, Efrain and Eleazar.
