Grace Ina Dressel

GRACE INA DRESSEL Grace Ina Dressel was born August 6, 1950 in West Salem, Ohio the daughter of Paul G. and Mildred Ann (Ickes) Wenger. She passed away on Tuesday, April 19, 2011 at Southwest Memorial Hospital at the age of 60. On June 1, 1969 Grace married David Bryan Dressel in West Salem, Ohio. A devoted mother, Grace loved time spent with her children. She also enjoyed gardening, gathering mushrooms and fishing. Surviving Grace are her husband, David B. Dressel of Dolores; her parents, Paul and Mildred Wenger of Jefferson, Ind.; and her children, David Mark Dressel, Hannah Chupp and husband, Herman of Cortez, Aaron Dressel and wife, Carissa of Sarasota, Fla., Gloryann Linch and husband, Jeremy of Durango, Sarah Dressel of Phoenix, Ariz., and Abel Dressel of Durango. Grace also leaves behind 14 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and her siblings, Jane Ingram, Anna Fritzinger, Carol Mauldin, Letha Sprow, Lois Gardella, Rose Mutchler, and George Wenger. She was preceded in death by her siblings, Wade and Mark Wenger. Memorial contributions may be made to the Grace Dressel memorial fund at Dolores State Bank. A private viewing will take place on Thursday and friends and family are invited to attend a memorial service to be held at 11:30 a.m. Thursday at 1015 E. 2nd Street, Cortez.
