GORDON DEAN UTE Funeral services for Gordon Dean Ute a lifelong resident of Towaoc will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, January 6 at the Ertel Memorial Chapel. Cremation will follow the services. Visitation has been scheduled for Tuesday beginning at noon at Ertel Chapel. Gordon was born June 19, 1964 in Monticello, Utah the son of Chloe Sanup Ute. He passed away at St. Mary Regional Medical Center in Grand Junction, Colo. on Friday, January 2, 2009 at the age of 44. Surviving Gordon are his mother, Chloe Ute of Towaoc; his children, Donovan House, Trent Ute and Grant Ute all of Towaoc; four grandchildren, Devan Carson Ute, Damoni Ute, Danica House and Dion House. Preceding Gordon in death was his grandfather, Paul Ute.
