GLENDA DIANNE MILLIGAN Lifelong Cortez resident, Glenda Dianne Milligan was born on November 19, 1948 in Cortez the daughter of Ernest Glen and Laura Lee (Anderson) Milligan. She passed away on Thursday, December 2, 2010 at her home at the age of 62. Dianne loved spending time making various crafts and fishing. She was very proud of all her family and spending time with them brought Dianne's life much joy. Dianne instilled a wonderful work ethic in her daughters. A single mom in the 60's, Dianne raised two loving daughters without any assistance or outside help. Her daughters will be forever grateful for the sacrifices she made. Surviving Dianne are her daughters, Donna Hauser and companion, Leslee Ham and family of Cortez and Shannon Evansco and husband, Tom of Webb City, Mo.; her grandchildren, Shalane Conrads and husband, David of South Carolina, Jacob Hauser and companion, Katelyn of Cortez, Kassidy Milligan of Cortez, Nicholas Hauser of Cortez, Kayla Evansco and Kara Evansco of Webb City, Mo.; her great-granddaughter, Brook Conrads; her brother, Darrel Grooms and wife, Betty of Hamilton, Mo.; and Dianne leaves behind a large extended family. She was preceded in death by her parents; and by her siblings, Jim Milligan and Patricia Milligan. Memorial contributions may be made to the Leonard Cain Scholarship Fund at First National Bank in Dianne's memory. Cremation has taken place and a celebration of Dianne's life will be held this summer. Details will be published as the time approaches. Dianne's family would like to extend a heartfelt "thank you" to all of the friends and family members who have helped them during this trying time.
