GLEN RAYMOND WARD Graveside services for Glen Raymond Ward, a lifelong area resident, will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, August 12 at Cortez Cemetery. Pastor Jonathan Bland will officiate. Glen was born in Monticello, Utah on September 28, 1942 to Glen LeRoy and Sylvia May (Baysinger) Ward. He passed away at Vista Grande Inn on Sunday, August 9, 2015. Glen was 72 years old. Glen never had children of his own, but his nieces and nephews were the light of his life and he considered them his children. He shared his love generously with his dogs, as well. Surviving Glen are his nieces and nephews, Rick and Linda Ward of Moapa, Nev., Debbie and George Fish of Cortez, Dan and Janice Ward of Cortez, Robin and Jonathan Bland of Cortez, Cheryl and John Beaudin of Brentwood, Calif., Trudie Ward of San Antonio, Tex., Bob Markham of Craig, Colo., Roger and Debbie Markham of Craig, Colo., Rhonda and Joe Collins of Tallahassee, Fla., Roxanne and John Chadwick of Craig, Colo., Ronae and Roger Everhart of Fort Collins, Colo., David and Lynn Ward of Oakley, Calif., and Pam Ward of Antioch, Calif.; sister-in-law, Joanne Ward; 34 great nieces and nephews; and numerous great great nieces and nephews. Glen was preceded in death by his parents, Glen Leroy and Sylvia May Ward; by all of his siblings, Marjorie Meister, Dean Woodard, Leonard Ward, Kenneth Ward, Wanalee Markham, and three other infants siblings; sister-in-law, Cheryl Jean Ward; brother-in-law, Roy Markham; and nephew, Justin Ward.
