Glen Earl Osterfeld

GLEN EARL OSTERFELD Glen Earl Osterfeld was born on December 27, 1926 in Dolores, Colo. the son of Herman Henry and Lillie Mae (Garbarino) Osterfeld. He passed away on Friday, November 28, 2008 at Southwest Memorial Hospital at the age of 81. In May 1950, Glen married Marlene Naoma Bass in Aztec, N.M. The couple shared 58 years together. Glen was an active member of the V.F.W. and he owned a trading post in Manyfarms, Ariz. for 11 years. He loved Paint horses and spending time with his grandchildren. Surviving Glen are his loving wife, Marlene Osterfeld of Cortez; and his daughter, Rhoda Lee Weatherford and husband, James of Cortez. Glen also leaves behind his grandchildren, Shawn Trienen, Shay Allred, Brian Bia, and Frances and Wanda Weatherford; and his great-grandchildren, Darion Bia, Dinae Bia, Damon Bia, Marcus Bia, Gabriel Allred, Kate Trienen, Rita and Jack Trienen, Jessie Montoya, Wyatt Lawley, and Jeffery Gardenhigher. Glen was preceded in death by his parents; his son, Larry Glen Osterfeld in 1973; and his brother, Edward Osterfeld. Cremation has taken place and there are no services planned at this time.
