GIP ELMO HUDSON Gip Elmo Hudson was born on March 6, 1952 in Dimmitt, Tex. the son of Ira Gip and Frankie Mae (Phillips) Hudson. He passed away on Saturday, September 20, 2008 at his daughter's home in Mancos at the age of 56. Gip was a teacher at the Vo-Tech for three years, he taught in the heating and refrigeration department. Gip was a hard worker that loved to help people. He received great satisfaction upon the completion of a remodeling project. He was an all around handyman. Gip enjoyed visiting with his friends and he was a loving and wonderful father and brother. Surviving Gip are his daughters, Ewa Bell of Mancos, and Brandy Hale of Brighton, Colo.; his three grandchildren, Madison and Waylon Hale, and Cutter Bell; his brother, Riley Hudson and wife, Nora of Cortez; and his half-sister, JoAnn Johnson of Arlington, Tex. Gip was preceded in death by his parents; and his brother, Michael Hudson.
