Gertrude Ann 'Trudy' Erickson

Funeral services for long time Cortez resident Gertrude Ann ‘Trudy’ Erickson will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, December 10, 2021 at Ertel Memorial Chapel. Interment will follow at Cortez Cemetery.
Trudy was born August 17, 1947 in Shiprock, NM to John C. Sells and Angela Taliman Sells. She passed away on Thursday, December 2, 2021 in Grand Junction, CO.
Surviving Trudy are her loving son, Jon Erickson; her brother, Joseph H. Sells; her sister, Erma J. Archuleta; Pg and Linda West, Linda Erickson, and Ann Erickson. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gary Erickson; her daughter, Leshon Erickson; and her brothers, Chris Sells and Randy Erickson.
The family would like to thank everyone for the prayers and love. The out-reach has been amazing. Trudy was one of a kind she will be missed. There is no greater comfort then to know her faith in the Lord was without question. Knowing we will see her again is very comforting. We ask that you come celebrate the amazing life of a wife, a mother to many, and a friend to many more. She may no longer be here but her kindness and love may it live on in our heart
