Gerald Layne Calliham

GERALD LAYNE CALLIHAM Memorial services for longtime Ucolo, Utah resident, Gerald Layne Calliham will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, March 11 at the Ertel Memorial Chapel. Gerald was born the son of Herman Lawrence and Jewel Marguerite (Leffel) Calliham on July 2, 1934 in Ochiltree County, Texas. He passed away at his home in Ucolo on Thursday, March 8, 2006 at the age of 71. A farmer by profession, Gerald spent his life tending the land. He was a member of the Elks and the NRA. He enjoyed shooting black powder guns and had won many competitions. Surviving Gerald are his daughters, Joyce M. Presley and husband, Kevin of Cortez, Cynthia A. Kellerman and husband, Bill of Monticello, Utah, Norma J. Telles and husband, Leo Sr. also of Monticello, Utah, Julie L. Lucero and husband, Lee of Durango, and Sheryl K. Gray and husband, Johnny Bullock of Snowflake, Ariz. Also surviving Gerald are 16 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren; and his brother, Jack H. Calliham of Monticello, Utah.
