GEORGE WILLIAM "G.W." MCCUTCHEON Graveside services for lifelong Cortez resident George William "G.W." McCutcheon will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, March 5 at Cortez Cemetery. Carol West will officiate. G.W. was born November 24, 1928 in Coffee County, Tenn. the son of Herbert Fuller and Charlie Beryl "Billie" (Miller) McCutcheon. He passed away on Thursday, March 3, 2016 at his residence at the age of 87. Surviving G.W. are his wife, Cheryl McCutcheon of Cortez; his daughters, Gail Barker (Bernie) and Debie Schmitt (John) all of Cortez; his step-children, Richard Fryhover (Susan), Rick Hover (Toni), and Cheri Johnson all of Cortez. G.W. was preceded in death by his parents; and by his sons, Michael McCutcheon and Timothy McCutcheon.
