George John Grubbs

GEORGE JOHN GRUBBS George John Grubbs was born December 29, 1938 in Sheridan, Wyo. the son of Votaw Allison and Julia (Coster) Grubbs. He passed away at his Dolores home on Sunday, December 1, 2013 at the age of 74. George proudly served in the United States Air Force. Surviving George are his wife, Cecilia Grubbs of Dolores; four children, Votaw Grubbs of Cortez, George Grubbs Jr. of Wolf Point, Mont., Wendy Milholland of Sterling, Colo., and Chris Grubbs of Grand Junction, Colo.; seven grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; three brothers, Charlie Grubbs of Phoenix, Ariz., Brian Grubbs of Dolores, and Sam Grubbs of Coeur d'Alene, Ida.; and sister, Allison Schoonover of Davenport, Iowa. He was preceded in death by his parents, Votaw and Julia Grubbs. Cremation has taken place and no services will be held. Memorial contributions can be made to Hospice of Montezuma, P.O.
