GEORGE DONALD BABER George Donald Baber was born on March 6, 1938 in Boise, Idaho the son of Charley and Esther (White) Chapin. He passed away on Friday, January 23, 2015 at the Valley Inn Nursing home. George was 76 years old. George graduated from Dunlap High School. In 1956 he entered the U.S. Marine Corp and was stationed at Camp Pendleton. After leaving the Marines he went into fruit farming. George loved the open lifestyle of the Migrant Fruit Worker. He was able to travel and was never tied down to one place. He also enjoyed fishing and loved listening to Boxcar Willie. Surviving George are his children, Jeff Baber and wife, Connie of Cortez, Cynthia Cisneros of Cortez, and Esther Baber of Nampa, Idaho; grandchildren, Susana Cisneros, Cheyenne Baber, Mike Newell, Jessica Natrin, Robert McGlothlin and Bryan Roberts; great grandchildren, Dawson Natrin, Gabriella Newell and Dean Roberts; and his sisters, Kay Dyke and husband, Larry of Nampa, Idaho, Jackie Bates and husband, Vern of Nampa, Idaho, Charlotte Cofelt and husband, Fred of Oregon and Bonnie Baber of Nampa, Idaho. Preceding George in death are his parents, Charley and Esther Chapin; and his brother, Bob Baber. Cremation has taken place, there will be no services at this time.
