GAIL LEMONE FERGUSON Gail Lemone Ferguson was born Sept 9, 1952 to Leemon and Nola Ferguson in Cortez and passed away January 11, 2010 in Cortez at the age of 57. Gail attended schools in Egnar, Colo. and Grants, N.M. After high school, Gail worked as a cook in restaurants, ran the snack bar at McClellans in Grants, and worked as a cashier and assistant manager at Sturges Super Market in Milan. In 1985, Gail returned to Colorado and lived with her parents. Gail loved, adored, and spoiled all her nieces and nephews, and they thought the world of her. She spent a lot of time with each of them at different times in their lives. She always made time for them. Gail's hobby was arts and crafts and enjoyed drawing and painting. Gail was preceded in death by her father, Leemon, and by nephews, Joshua and Brandon. She is survived by her mother, Nola, and siblings, Shannon and Teresa Ferguson of Houston, Tex., Wesley and Jenna Ferguson of Noel, Mo., Marilyn Kerr of Durango, Kristie Damron of Cortez, and Lorine and Tom Carter of Long Beach, Calif. She is survived by neices and nephews, Jodie, Brian, Stephen, Heather and Paul, Charity, Isaiah, Josiah, Twyla and Will, Lamanda and Blake, Jacqueline and Andrew, Jeremiah and Melisa, Johnathan, Terri, Daniel and Brie, Matthew and Mary, Nathaniel, Amy, Jennifer, Logan, Joseph, Brianna, Violet, Angel, Emma, Kiera, Jasmine, Brandon, Abigail, Brittina, Nicholas, Jacob, Courtney, Nicole, Natasha, James, Cassidy, Garrett, Bridgett, Hope, Aysha, Sarah, David, Lacey, Elleia, Tapanga, and Elizabeth. Cremation has occurred. Family services will be held at a later date.
