Gabriel Stephen Garcia

GABRIEL STEPHEN GARCIA Gabriel Stephen Garcia was born March 31, 1948 in Albuquerque, N.M. the son of Prudencio and Angelita (Chavez) Garcia. He passed away on Wednesday, November 16, 2016 at San Juan Regional Medical Center in Farmington, N.M. at the age of 68. Gabriel graduated from Dolores High School and went on to proudly serve his country during the Viet Nam conflict with the United States Army. Gabriel was a member of the American Legion and Color Guard. He was an accomplished musician playing both the guitar and harmonica. Gabriel enjoyed building things and spending time with his family. Surviving Gabriel are his daughter, Kristy Madrid of Montrose, Colo.; his grandchildren, Jessica Hale and Devon Madrid of Montrose; his great-grandchildren, Nevaeh, Zakk, and Tegan; and by his sister, Mary Montano of New Mexico. Gabriel was preceded in death by his parents; and by his siblings, A.G. Garcia and Juliette Quintana. Cremation has taken place and services will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made in Gabriel's name to PASCO Home Health.
