Freddie Skidmore 1923-2018 Freddie Orville Skidmore, born February 28, 1923 in Tillman County Oklahoma to Owen Odis and Lena May Skidmore, left this Earth on January 22, 2018. On November 22, 1949 he married the love of his life Maudine Allie Skidmore; together they had 7 children, 15 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren. Freddie had many adventures in his life. He and Maudine settled down on Ucolo Road to raise their family. Freddie suffered many trials in his life, but never let one get him down. Everyone who knew him always knew him for his teasing. It was always difficult to know if he was not well, as he joked around every day. Freddie is preceded in death by his lovely wife, Maudine, his children Henry, Matilda, Merinda, Raymond and Dale, his parents, many brothers, sisters, cousins, nieces and nephews. Freddie is survived by his daughters Lorena Trujillo and Nora (Richard) Reece both of West Valley City, Ut, Foster Son Glen (De) Jackson of Stansbury Park, UT, grandchildren, Tonni Trujillo, Tyson Trujillo, Danielle (Carson) Stapely, Perry Trujillo, Melisa (Kevin) Todd, Terri Bustillo, Curtis (Alisha) Reece, Anthony (Paula) Skidmore, Daniel Skidmore, Joshua (Ashley) Skidmore, 25 great-grandchildren, brothers and sisters, Oreal (Mary Jo) Skidmore, of Missouri, Johnny (Mary) Skidmore of Cortez, Colorado, Margie Spruell of Pampa, Texas, Roma Overland of Mesa, Arizona, Dora (LeRoy) Winters of Farmington, New Mexico, many nieces, nephews and friends. The family would like to thank PMC, San Juan Clinic and Hospital in Monticello and the Hospice Care of Zions Way. Services will be at the First Southern Baptist Church in Dove Creek Colorado at 10 am on January 27, 2018. Viewing prior to services and interment to follow at Dove Creek City Cemetery.
