Fred M. Klein Jr.

FRED M. KLEIN JR. Fred M. Klein Jr. was born June 18, 1925 in Denver, Colo. to Fred M. Klein and Elsie A. (Soderstrom) Klein. He passed away at Southwest Memorial Hospital in Cortez on Wednesday, June 3, 2015. Fred was 89 years old. During World War II Fred served his country in the U.S. Navy. Fred's war service held great pride to him. Surviving Fred are his children, Shelly Van Gundy of Coca, Fla., Shanna Duke of Pine, Colo., Lori Gallentine and husband, Gene, of Placerville, Calif., and Linnea Klein and Dena Klein both of Coca, Fla.; and by three grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. Cremation will take place and no services are planned per Fred's request.
