FRANK ANDERSON DeVORE Funeral services for Frank Anderson DeVore, former Mancos resident, will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday, February 26 at the Mancos United Methodist Church. Interment will follow at Cedar Grove Cemetery. Rev. Bud Rousset will officiate. A visitation has been scheduled for Sunday afternoon from 3 to 5 p.m. at the Ertel Memorial Chapel. Frank was born the son of William Therlin and Nancy Elizabeth (Carnahan) DeVore on Dec. 3, 1922 at Mansfield, Ark. He passed away at Vista Mesa Assisted Living on Tuesday, February 20, 2007 at the age of 84. Frank was a member of the Mancos V.F.W. He loved carpentry work and time spent with his family. Surviving Frank are his wife, Faye Stevenson of Cortez; his children, Harriett Freestone of Charlotte, N.C., Bill McLaughlin and wife, Racene of Cortez, Nancy Hoffheins and husband, Don of Klamath Falls, Ore., and Talonda Sprague and husband, Wes of Cortez; his brother, Dick DeVore of Pagosa Springs, Colo., his twelve grandchildren, Jamie, Steven, Cyndi, Brian, Kirt, Darin, Karl, Kevin, Kami, Cody, Eric, and James; and 13 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; his loving wife of 30+ years, Betty DeVore; and his brother, Charlie DeVore. Memorial contributions may be made in Frank’s memory to Vista Mesa Assisted Living.
