FRANK ALBERT CHIPMAN A celebration of life for Cortez resident Frank Albert Chipman will be held from 5 to 6 p.m. on Monday, February 15 at Ertel Memorial Chapel. Friends and family are encouraged to come and share stories and memories of Frank's life during this time. Frank was born on September 2, 1940 in Beach Haven Terrace, N.J. the son of William Burns and Edith (Maskell) Chipman. He passed away on Friday, February 12, 2010 at Southwest Memorial Hospital at the age of 69. On June 22, 1964, Frank married Lynn Turko in Elkton, Maryland. The couple shared 45 loving years together. Frank loved to travel and rock hunt with his wife. He also enjoyed hiking. Surviving Frank are his wife, Lynn Chipman of Cortez; his sister, June Sheely of Lancaster, Penn.; and his favorite one-eyed cat, Blinkie. Frank was preceded in death by his parents; and by his brothers, William B. Chipman and G. Robert Chipman. Memorial contributions may be made in Frank's memory to Hospice of Montezuma, P.O.
