FRANCIS MARK Funeral services for McCracken Mesa, Utah resident, Francis Mark will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, June 4 at the Ertel Memorial Chapel. Interment will follow at the Cortez Cemetery. Francis was born on March 23, 1924 in Dewhoozhi Bekho, Utah the son of Mark and Laura (Descheeny) Tohtsonie. He passed away on Wednesday, June 1, 2005 at his home in McCracken Mesa at the age of 81. Francis was a carpenter and enjoyed ranching. The outdoors were a passion of Francis’. Surviving Francis are his wife, Rose Beletso Mark; his children, Anderson “Andy” Mark of Montezuma Creek, Utah, Ida Mae Mark of Farmington, N.M., Virginia “Virgie” Begay of Orem, Utah, Allison “Al” T. Mark of Aneth, Utah, Harrison Mark of Farmington, and Genevieve Tohtsoni of McCracken Mesa, Utah; his 22 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, and two great great-grandchildren. He leaves two sisters, Lucy Rentz and Nita Burke. Preceding him in death were his parents.
