Frances G. Hoy

FRANCES G. HOY Memorial services for longtime Cortez resident, Frances G. Hoy will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, April 1, 2006 at the Ertel Memorial Chapel. Cremation will follow the service. Reverend Lynn Evans will officiate. Frances was born on October 22, 1934 in Gallup, N.M. the daughter of Fred and Helen (Apple) Garing. She passed away on Monday, March 27, 2006 at her home at the age of 71. Surviving Fran are her children, Joel Hoy and wife, Emma, and Helen Gonzalez all of Cortez, and Chase Hoy and wife, Melanie of Grand Junction; and her grandchildren, Ben Gonzalez, Kevin Hoy, Jessica Gonzalez, and Michelle Hoy. Fran was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Ben C. Hoy; and her siblings, Zera Campbell and Jerry Garing. Memorial contributions may be made in Fran's memory to the Amercian Heart Association or to Hospice of Montezuma.
