EUNICE MARGARET “PEGGY” HALLS Funeral services for lifelong Mancos resident, Eunice Margaret “Peggy” Halls will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 10, 2005 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Mancos. Interment will follow in the Cedar Grove Cemetery. Peggy was born on May 22, 1952 in Cortez the daughter of Harley E. and Marcheta (Smith) Walton. She passed away on Thursday, August 4, 2005 at the New Mexico Heart Hospital in Albuquerque. She was 53 years old. Peggy graduated from Mancos High School and went on to attend Fort Lewis College where she received a Bachelor of Arts degree. On August 28, 1970 she married William Keith Halls in Mancos. Peggy was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and was very active in and supportive of her children’s activities. She loved to work in her garden and was known for being very social. Surviving Peggy is her husband, Keith Halls of Mancos; her children, Randy Halls of Durango, Aaron Halls and wife, Nancy of Mancos and Dwight Halls of Durango; her granddaughter, Maggie Halls of Mancos; her siblings, Kim Lipe of Cortez; and Scott Walton of Mancos. She was preceded in death by her father; and brothers, Lewt, Todd, Joe and Jess Walton. Memorial contributions can be made in Peggy’s name at Dolores State Bank.
