EUGENE EDWARD LANSING Funeral services for Aneth, Utah resident Eugene Edward Lansing will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, August 4 at the Ertel Memorial Chapel. Interment will follow at the Cortez Cemetery. Eugene was born on October 15, 1936 in Aneth, Utah, the son of Frank and Armeda (Redman) Lansing. He passed away on Monday, July 31, 2006 at the San Juan Regional Hospital at the age of 69. Surviving Eugene are his wife, Eleanor Lansing of Aneth; and his children, Terry Lane Lansing of West Jordan, Utah, Eugene Lansing Jr. and wife, Darlene of Aneth, Cynthia Higgins and husband, Steve of Cortez, Christine Cattleman and husband, Harrison of Teec Nos Pos, Ariz., Burlin Lansing and wife, Eugenia of Aneth, Verlin Lansing and wife, Sarah also of Aneth, and Cody O’Dale of Orem, Utah. He also leaves behind his siblings, Rose L. Phillips and Billy Lansing; his 18 grandchildren; and numerous nephews and nieces. Eugene was preceded in death by his parents; his brothers, Franklyn Lansing, Leroy “Lansing” O’Dale, and George Lansing; his sister, Mary Lansing Phillips; and his grandson, Albert.
