Erma "Jean" Morrill

ERMA "JEAN" MORRILL Memorial services for Erma "Jean" Morrill, 83 of Dolores, will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, January 26 at Ertel Memorial Chapel. Pastor Jim Welch will officiate. Jean was born July 1, 1933 in Syracuse, Kans. the daughter of Alfred Ulysses and Gladys (Crouch) Alexander. She passed away at her home on January 19, 2017. Jean married Milton John Morrill in Montrose, Colo. in 1950. She was a member of Lighthouse Baptist Church and she devoted 30+ years as a Registered Nurse. In her free time, Jean enjoyed quilting, gardening, and bird watching. She and her husband had many adventures on the A.T.V.'s and horseback riding. Surviving Jean are her son, Gregory C. Morrill of Cortez; daughter, Glynnis Lloyd of Rio Rancho, N.M.; grandchildren Trever Morrill, Tierra Morrill, and Amanda Lloyd; and her sister, Vera Flowers of Anchorage, Alaska. Jean was preceded in death by her husband, Milton John Morrill; and two children, Genlea Morrill and Galen D. Morrill. Memorial contributions may be made in Jean Morrill's name to the charity of choice.
