Erick Wayne Hurley

ERICK WAYNE HURLEY Erick Wayne Hurley was born October 17, 1985 in Cortez, Colo. the only child of Stan and Carol Hurley, he was a gift from God. Erick attended Lewis-Arriola Elementary School where he made life-long friends and graduated from M.C.H.S. in 2004. At Mesa State College, Erick earned an electric line worker certificate. Whether he worked as a surveyor tech, apprentice lineman, or in the gas and oil fields, he enjoyed working with the crews and always the outdoors. Watching the Miami Dolphins play football and hunting and fishing in the Colorado Mountains were Ericks favorite pastimes. He returned to his mountains and his heavenly home on March 18, 2017. Surviving Erick are his parents, and many loving aunts, uncles, and cousins in Arizona, Wyoming, and Montana. An informal celebration of Ericks life will be held on June 9, 2018 at Arriola Cemetery. Following the celebration, there will be a lunch at the Hurley residence and everyone is invited to attend.
