ENRIQUE GUTIERREZ JR. Funeral Mass for Enrique Gutierrez Jr. will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, April 16 at St. Rita Catholic Church with Reverend Jesus Martinez C.R. officiating. Interment will follow at Cedar Grove Cemetery. Rosary services will be held Wednesday evening at St. Rita Catholic Church beginning at 7 p.m. Enrique was born November 29, 1989 in Orange, Calif. the son of Rogelio and Teresa (Galvez) Gutierrez. He passed away near Gypsum, Colo. on Saturday, April 11, 2009 at the age of 19. A 2008 graduate of Mancos High School, Enrique was currently a student at Mesa State College. During his high school years he was a member of the Mancos basketball team. He was a sports enthusiast at heart with his greatest love being basketball. He was a supporter of the Los Angeles Lakers. Enrique is survived by his parents, Rogelio and Teresa Gutierrez of Mancos; three sisters, Alma Jaime of Mancos, Miriam Gutierrez of Clearfield, Utah, and Jessica Gutierrez of Mancos; and one brother, Juan Pablo Gutierrez also of Mancos.
