EMMETT MELVIN DOYAL Memorial services for longtime Dove Creek resident, Emmett Melvin Doyal will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, March 13 at the Dove Creek Veteran of Foreign Wars Hall. Emmett was born on Sept. 19, 1925 to Isaac Lee and Ada Mae (Endicott) Doyal at Fountain, Colo. He passed away at his home in Dove Creek on Tuesday, March 2, 2004. He was 78 years old. Emmett owned and operated his own Road Construction business. During his spare time he enjoyed restoring tractors. Above all Emmett loved spending time with his family. He is survived by his wife Lyla G. (Curtis) Doyal; his son and daughter, Elizabeth Mae Klock, Bennie Doyal and wife, Barbara all of Dove Creek; ten grandchildren, and 14 great-grandchildren; as well as his sister and brother, Jewel schauster of Glenwood Springs, Colo., and Ray Doyal of Coeur D Alene, Id. Preceding him in death were his parents; his two sons, Melvin Jay Doyal and David Alvin Doyal; two sisters, Dorothy and Alma; and three brothers, Roy, Jack and Wayne. Memorial contributions can be made in Emmett’s memory to the Dove Creek Ambulance Fund. Services are under the direction of the Ertel Funeral Home.
