Elmer "Dutch" Hamilton

ELMER MAYWOOD “DUTCH” HAMILTON Elmer Maywood “Dutch” Hamilton was born on October 6, 1915 in Tucumcari, N.M., the son of Jack Haze and Clyde Green (Cassidy) Hamilton. He passed away on Thursday, July 5, 2007 at the Valley Inn Nursing Home. Dutch married Hazel May (Felkins) Hamilton on September 16, 1949 in Aztec, N.M. Surviving Dutch are his daughter, Sharon Bruce and husband, Robert of Bullhead City, Ariz.; 17 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; and 5 great-great-grandchildren; and one brother, Eddie Hamilton. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife of 57 years, Hazel May Hamilton in March 2007; and his siblings, Ishmael, Artrue, Berdett, Verl, Everett “Red” and J.C. Hamilton, and Elnore Self. Cremation has taken place and Dutch’s urn will be interred at the Cahone Cemetery on Saturday, July 21, 2007 at 10 a.m.
