ELLIOTT DANIEL ALBER
Elliott Daniel Alber (age 7 months) of Clifton, Colo. passed away peacefully at home, August 28, 2023, surrounded by family after a valiant fight with brain cancer. Elliott was born January 12, 2023, to parents Michael and Shelby Alber. Elliott was diagnosed with an ETMR brain tumor on June 9, 2023. During his battle he underwent a partial resection and a round of chemotherapy before returning home to celebrate life with his family, making a lifetime of memories.
During Elliott’s life he was able to partake in a family favorite; travel, which took him to 8 states. Other past times Elliott enjoyed were being read to, snuggles, being entertained by his siblings and his favorite blanket. Elliott had the sweetest smile and a very mellow personality, always observing.
Elliott is survived by his twin brother, Sawyer; along with his older brothers, Jeremiah and Franklin; as well as his sister, Raegan; maternal grandparents, Elizabeth and Travis Brooks of Plattsburg, MO, and Todd Webster of Plattsburg, MO; maternal great-grandparents, Floyd Franklin of Cortez, Colo., and Mike and Linda Brooks of Plattsburg, MO; paternal grandparents, Chris and Barb Alber of Fruita, Colo., and Shar Alber and Bobby Ward of Grand Junction, Colo.; aunts and uncles, Austin Webster, Hayden Webster, Austin Brooks, Brian and Lindsay Alber, Travis and Jenn Schulze and Halli Alber; along with cousins, Molly, Stevie, and Linda. Elliot was preceded in death by his great-grandparents, Earline Franklin and Dave and Dolores Alber; as well as his great-uncle, Jeffrey Franklin and countless other loved ones.
Elliott’s celebration of life service will be held at Clifton Christian Church on Monday, September 18, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers the family asks that you consider contributing to Brent’s Place with Children’s Hospital of Colorado or HopeWest Hospice in Grand Junction.
The family would like to extend their appreciation to Elliott’s team of medical professionals. Your dedication and compassion touched not only his life but ours as well. There will never be adequate words to express our gratitude. Thank you for everything you do.
