Elizabeth Jane Hart

Elizabeth Jane Hart died peacefully holding her daughter’s hand on Tuesday, September 28, 2021 at Vista Mesa Assisted Living Residence in Cortez, Colorado. Born March 28, 1925 in Ferguson, Minnesota to Robert and Audrey Neuenfeldt.
Bette was married in Chicago on April 5, 1946 to Kenneth Hart, now deceased. They spent decades together. Bette was a loving mother to John and Joan Hart. She gave birth to Jane Elizabeth Hart in 1947. Mom and Dad lived in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida for over 40 years. Bette moved to Durango, Colorado where she played bridge, met good friends and enjoyed living in the beautiful mountains. She was a member of St. Columba Church, Durango.
Bette is remembered for her beautiful smile and loving nature.
She is survived by Jane and Jack Mercer, Joan and Jon Ream; two grandsons, Kevin and Scott; Karen Hart of Nashville, Tennessee; and four grandchildren, Guy, Derik, Brock and Melissa Hart.
There is love that will live forever, and there are memories that will shine through the sorrow.
