Elaine Sue Killingbeck

A celebration of life will be held for longtime Cortez Elaine Killingbeck from 10 am-1 pm at the American Legion Post 75 on Sunday, March 19, 2023.

Elaine Killingbeck was born June 25, 1967 in Gallup, New Mexico. She passed away on March 11, 2023, in the comfort of her home, surrounded by family and close friends.

Elaine spent as much time as she could outdoors, from planting flowers, camping, hunting, fishing, riding four-wheelers in the mountain to working on race cars and being at the track. When she couldn’t be doing those activities, she loved being indoors doing arts and crafts and spending plenty of time with her family and friends.

Elaine is survived by her husband of 31 years, Gene Ring; her children Richard Killingbeck (Jessica), Tiffany Killingbeck (Ken), and Kelsie Carrasco (Julio); her sister Martha Heffner (Harry); her grandchildren Nevaeh and Abel Killingbeck; and many close friends and family.

Elaine was preceded in death by her mother Marion Heffner (Jack), her father Leonard Killingbeck, her brother Dale Wayne Killingbeck, and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
