Effie Mae Allison Davis

Funeral services for Bloomfield, NM resident Effie Mae Allison Davis will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, December 4, 2018 at the Dove Creek Community Center. Kenneth Hudgenson will officiate. Interment will follow at Dove Creek Cemetery.
Effie was born May 11, 1929 in Edna, Oklahoma the daughter of Willis Grant and Abbie Clara (Flemming) Davis. She passed away on Thursday, November 29, 2018 at San Juan Regional Medical Center in Farmington, New Mexico at the age of 89.
Effie married Clyde Alonzo Allison on October 1, 1953 in Aztec, New Mexico. She enjoyed making quilts, working in the garden, canning, crossword puzzles and traveling.
Surviving Effie are her children, Ramona Allison of Edersburg, CA, Sally Sisneros of Bloomfield, NM, and Abbie Scolari of Troy, MT; 10 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; and five great great grandchildren. Effie was preceded in death by her parents; her spouse; her son, Bill Allison; and her siblings, Fae Toles, Elton Davis, Calvin Davis and Donnie Davis.
