Edwin Wing

EDWIN WING Graveside services for lifelong Towaoc resident Edwin Wing will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, June 15 at the Towaoc Cemetery. Visitation has been scheduled for Thursday afternoon from 3 to 5 p.m. at Ertel Memorial Chapel. Edwin was born December 12, 1954 in Cortez the son of Sam Wing Sr. and Jennie Jacket. He passed away on Sunday, June 10, 2012 at St. Mary's Hospital in Grand Junction, Colo. at the age of 57. Edwin grew up riding horses in Mancos Canyon, he then went on to become a rancher. In his free time, Edwin liked to play basketball, pool, board games such as Sorry and Monopoly, and poker. Edwin's most enjoyed activity was gambling at the Ute Mountain Casino. He loved spending time with his nieces, nephews, and his family. Surviving Edwin are his siblings, Helena Morris and husband, Fred, Harrison Wing, Inez Wing, Orrin Wing, Janie Wing, Sam Wing Jr., Annette Dance and husband, Jacob, Jonathan Wing, and Ann Wing, all of Towaoc; and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.
