EDITH LYNNE JARMON Memorial services for Edith Lynne Jarmon, 59 of Mancos will be held at 10:00 am on Thursday, July 20 at Cortez Elks Lodge, 2100 North Dolores Road, Cortez. Edith was born December 24, 1957 in Apple Valley, Calif., the daughter of Richard T. and Betty Marie (Wilson) Fogarty. She passed away at her home in Mancos on Friday, July 14, 2017. On October 6, 1979 Edith married David Brent Jarmon in Cortez. She was a graduate of Montezuma-Cortez High School. Edith was the owner of Montezuma/Dolores Title Co. She was involved with Kiwanis and enjoyed fishing, 4 wheelers, boating, traveling and friends and family. She liked time spent at her Groundhog cabin. Edith is survived by her husband of 37 years, Dave Jarmon of Mancos; two sons, Randy Jarmon of Fayetteville, N.C. and Brent Jarmon (Taylor) of Cortez; seven grandchildren; and her siblings, Terry McCabe (Rex) of Cortez, Diana McGee (Stan) of Blanchard, Okla., Mary Johnson (Denny) of Montrose, Colo., Harry Fogarty (Diana) of Bridge Creek, Okla., and Betty Gaches of Springfield, Mo. She was preceded in death by her parents; and her sister Mickey Fogarty. Memorial contributions can be made in memory of Edith Jarmon to Hospice of Montezuma or Dolores Fire Department.
