Eddie Elizabeth Sahlen

EDDIE ELIZABETH SAHLEN Longtime Dolores resident, Eddie Elizabeth Sahlen was born on October 7, 1913 in Pearsall, Tex. the daughter of Edd and Edna (Haynes) Coleman. She passed away on Saturday, September 17, 2005 at her niece’s residence in Mancos. Eddie was 91 years old. On September 22, 1945 in Burbank, Calif. Eddie married the late Henry Peterson Sahlen. She went on to own and operate her own seamstress and alteration business. Eddie was also known for being a wonderful cook. Surviving Eddie are her sister-in-law, Ruth Watkins of Cortez; and her nieces and nephews, Anna Raubeson, Jerry Coleman, Robert Coleman all of Dolores, and Jack Coleman of Cortez. Preceding her in death were her parents; and her husband, Henry. No services have been scheduled at this time. Arrangements are being handled through the Ertel Funeral Home.
