EARL CHARLES MOORE 

 Graveside inurnment services for Earl Charles Moore will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, August 28, 2024 at Cortez Cemetery. Military honors will be provided by Ute Mountain American Legion Post #75.

 Earl was born January 3, 1947 in Elma, Wash., the son of Clyde and Mildred (Howes) Moore. He passed away on Sunday, August 18, 2024 at his residence at the age of 77.

 Earl met and married the love of his life, Diane Thomas in 1978 in Albuquerque, N.M. Earl served in the Navy from January 15, 1965 to October 14, 1971. After working for PNM in Albuquerque, he retired in March of 2002. Diane worked as a teacher for APS for 28 years and retired in 1997. Together they moved to Cortez to enjoy their retirement in 2008 where they built their house.

 Surviving Earl are his spouse, Diane Moore; his sister, Julie Fachini and brother-in-law, Ken Fachini of Albuquerque, N.M.; his nieces, Laci Fachini and Alyssa Fachini; his sister-in-law, Sharon Moore; and his nephews, Daniel Moore and David Moore. Earl was preceded in death by his parents; and by his brother, Jack Moore.
