Dr. Martin John Dale

DR. MARTIN J. DALE Dr. Martin J. Dale of Hemet, Calif. died February 26, 2005 at Redlands Health Center at the age of 82. Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. on March 4 at the Panorama Village Center in Hemet. Dr. Dale was born October 8, 1922 in Hanover, Pa. to Norman and Peggy Dale. He was raised in Colorado Springs and Denver. He was an Air Force veteran, spending time in Europe during World War II. He practiced optometry in Cortez from 1949-1975. Dr. Dale is survived by his wife, Charlene, of 40 years; three daughters, Donna Livingston of Phoenix, Ariz., Marsha Beach, and Marti McNamee of Grand Junction, Colo.; three step-children, Holly Alm of Grand Junction, Colo., Jody and Bill Blackmer of Cortez; ten grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren. Preceding him in death were his parents; his brother, Robert Dale; and granddaughter, Debbie.
